Do you love to look at exploded views?
So does Todd McLellan. The Toronto-based photographer disassembles common household objects and arranges all the parts neatly to photographs them. Then he “explodes” them into the air. These images capture the minutiae in a truly exploding view.
A toaster, a lawn mower, a Blackberry– they all give up their assembled state for this exhibit of technology in the buff.
Things Come Apart is on display through May 19, 2013 at the Chicago Museum of Science & Industry.
