Alfa Romeo returns to the F1 after a 30-year hiatus.
The new team name Alfa Romeo Sauber F1 was officially announced earlier this month. Details of the deal include Ferrari powerplants for the Dallara-chassis race cars and technical know-how from the Fiat-Chrylser Automotive (FCA), the owners of Fiat, Ferrari and Alfa Romeo.
After a long hiatus the venerable marque of Alfa Romeo has finally returned to American shores. Here’s some video of the new 505-horsepower Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio. Pricing was recently announced with base models starting at $37,995 and topping out at $72,000 MSRP for the bella macchina we see here.
